Ukrainian Armed Forces are practicing new types of weapons, their use in Crimea is not excluded - NSDC Secretary Danilov

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), said this during a telethon.

He recalled that on April 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about samples of new weapons. It is manufactured by the Ukrainian defense industry.

"'So, if there is any testing of this or that weapon, it happens on our territory. It is possible that new types of these weapons were tested in Crimea. I do not rule it out," Danilov emphasized.

He added that the Russian occupiers, who are currently digging trenches on the Black Sea coast, "may be anticipating and guessing about something." However, according to him, only a limited number of people know where and when the Ukrainian army will be.

Danilov noted that no matter how many kilometers of trenches the Russians dig there, it will not help them.

"They will all leave. It is only a matter of time," the NSDC Secretary emphasized.

• On April 13, Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that for the safety and freedom of navigation, it is necessary to de-occupy Crimea.
