Ukraine’s National Guard eliminates over 300 Russian soldiers, 5 tanks, 2 electronic warfare systems and ammunition depot in one week
The National Guard of Ukraine eliminated over 300 Russian soldiers in all areas of combat operations over the past week. In addition, they destroyed 5 tanks, 12 armored vehicles, 9 vehicles, 3 self-propelled artillery systems, 2 Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare systems, as well as a company stronghold and an ammunition depot
This was stated on June 29 by Colonel Mykola Urshalovych, deputy director of the deployment planning department of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine.
According to him, the operational units confirmed the elimination of 228 Russian soldiers, of which more than 100 were killed. They also destroyed an armored combat vehicle and an enemy vehicle.
Recaptured positions in the Luhansk region
Units of the 5th and 31st Brigades, as well as the 50th Regiment of the National Guard, UAVs and artillery units were operating jointly in the Serebrianka Forestry, Luhansk region. Within the National Guard's area of responsibility, timely action resulted in the successful defense against Russian soldiers who were planning an assault. The National Guard effectively repulsed the attack and managed to prevent any loss of positions.
Successes of National Guard assault groups in the Zaporizhzhia region
In the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, the National Guard, in coordination with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, has launched an offensive operation. The assault groups of the 15th Operational Brigade, with the support of tanks and artillery, have conducted successful assaults, making significant advancements of up to 350 meters in certain areas. They have also successfully captured enemy positions spanning up to 450 meters in length. The soldiers have consolidated their positions and are prepared to repel any potential counterattacks from the enemy.
National Guard artillerymen neutralize 70 Russian soldiers in the Donetsk region
According to Mykola Urshalovych, artillery units of the National Guard, with fire support from the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which were defending in the Lyman and attacking in the Melitopol directions, neutralized about 70 Russian soldiers, 17 of them were eliminated.
National Guard aviation eliminates a Russian stronghold and ammunition depot; drones discover enemy MLRS and other equipment
The National Guard aviation carried out 2 combat missions in a week. As a result, they destroyed a Russian company stronghold and an ammunition depot.
The intelligence units of the National Guard of Ukraine discovered 394 targets over the week. Some of them were destroyed in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, unmanned aerial vehicles conducted 16 sorties to gather vital reconnaissance information. As a result, they discovered a MLRS, 6 armored combat vehicles, 31 vehicles, 2 cannons and the launch position of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The coordinates of these targets were transmitted to the appropriate units for effective fire destruction," added Urshalovych.
He also noted that the guardsmen of the aerial reconnaissance groups in the Lyman, Donetsk and Melitopol directions discovered and destroyed: 3 tanks, 3 self-propelled artillery pieces, 8 armored combat vehicles, 2 Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare systems and 6 vehicles.
National Guard Special Forces destroy 2 tanks, 3 armored vehicles, 3 cars and 20 soldiers in the Donetsk region
Over the past week, Ukrainian Special Forces destroyed about 20 soldiers, 2 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles and 3 vehicles in Lyman and Donetsk directions.
In the Bakhmut direction, the 27th Brigade's Special Forces destroyed Russian vehicles with their crews, manpower concentrations and ammunition storage sites this week. Thus, they significantly reduced the chances of Russian troops to actively defend themselves.
