On September 25, Ukraine celebrates the 90th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous Ukrainian singer and public figure, Hero of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, Anatoliy Solovianenko

It is reported that in 1962, Anatoliy Solovianenko was invited to the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theater, and also underwent an internship at the La Scala Theater in Milan, where he became a laureate of the Naples Against All contest.
In 1965, he was a soloist of the Kyiv Opera, and in 1967 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, in 1975 - People's Artist of the USSR.
Solovianenko's repertoire includes 17 opera parts, many arias, romances, and folk songs. The singer also toured the world extensively. He gave concerts in Bulgaria, Romania, Japan, Australia, and Canada.
"In 1980, Solovianenko became a laureate of the Lenin Prize, and he donated the monetary reward for it to the Peace Fund. In 1997, he received the Taras Shevchenko Prize," the publication writes.
In addition, it is known that the singer was fluent in Italian, and the outstanding masters of the opera stage Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti believed that Solovianenko's skill was not inferior to their own.
