Second series of explosions in Mariupol in 24 hours, enemy air defence system is active
Mariupol mayor's advisor Petro Andriushchenko reports a series of explosions in the city and its district: Russian air defence was active, there were hits to the enemy's warehouse
Petro Andriushchenko shared the statement on Telegram.
At 10:06 a.m. the mayor's advisor said that sirens were activated in the temporarily occupied Mariupol and a powerful explosion was heard: Russian air defence was operating.
Half an hour later, Petro Andriushchenko wrote about another explosion, and at 10:54 a.m. he reported on a series of explosions in summer cottages in front of Talakivka in Mariupol district.
Later, he confirmed that the third warehouse in the port at pier 18 was hit:
"Port, berth 18, warehouse 3 - hit- confirmed," Andriushchenko wrote.
The mayor's advisor said: "This is the best day of my life since February 24. Absolutely."
11 explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Mariupol on the evening of February 21: the city council confirmed the destruction of the occupiers' ammunition.
