Russia's war against Ukraine killed nearly 20,000 residents of occupied Horilivka
Social tension is growing in the occupied Horlivka, Donetsk region, as more than 20 thousand mobilized residents of the city have been killed since the beginning of the full-scale invasion
This was reported by the National Resistance Center.
"Thus, the occupiers are preparing for a new wave of mobilization to compensate for the losses and are already forming lists of men. In particular, the plan for mobilization was presented to the gauleiters from Horlivka," the statement reads.
However, in response, locals complain that social tensions are growing in the city, as more than 20,000 residents have died since the start of the full-scale invasion, having been forcibly mobilized into the Russian army in 2022.
"It should be noted that the mobilization of residents of the occupied territories is an international crime. The residents of the temporarily occupied territories are used to form advanced units, which the Russians send against Ukrainian troops without proper training, because the Russians benefit from the death of Ukrainians regardless of the side they are fighting for," the statement added.
