Russia uses FAB-500 glide bomb to attack residential area in Kharkiv

According to emergency medics, as of 4:54 p.m., two casualties were reported. A man sustained an explosive injury with damage to his legs, and a woman suffered an acute stress reaction. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
However, at 5:06 p.m., it was reported that the number of victims had increased to four. Two more people suffered acute stress reactions.
At first, Terekhov said that the invaders had hit one of the buildings of a Kharkiv university, but then clarified that the attack had hit a residential area.
"Private houses were hit. Some of them were destroyed. The dormitory of one of our universities was also damaged. There was no information about the dead and injured," the statement says.
Later, the head of the region, Oleh Syniehubov, said that the blast wave damaged the windows of two buildings of the university.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office provided details of the Russian attack. Russia for the first time used a FAB-500 bomb with a planning and correction module for the attack. This is a mounted structure designed to be used in conjunction with unguided aerial bombs. The attack was carried out from Belgorod.
"The enemy attacked Kyivskyi district of the city. Three private houses, the premises of a higher education institution and the State Emergency Service were damaged," the prosecutor's office said.
