Russian army attacks Kharkiv region: child among three killed, man wounded and destroyed health centre
On Wednesday, April 10, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv region: a strike on Lyptsi killed three people and wounded at least two others, a man was wounded in Vovchansk and a polyclinic was destroyed.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this.
"At about 2 p.m., the enemy shelled Lyptsi and Mala Danylivka in the Kharkiv district. A shop and a pharmacy are on fire. Preliminary: there may be people under the rubble," the statement says.
Syniehubov added that all specialized services are already working at the site of the strike.
Soon after, it became known that a 14-year-old girl was killed in the strike on Lyptsi. At least two other people were injured: A 33-year-old pharmacy employee with shrapnel wounds and a 16-year-old boy were hospitalized.
As of 3:45 p.m., the death toll in Lyptsi had risen to three. It has been reported that Russia killed two more women, aged 43 and 59. The rubble is still being cleared.
Later, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration informed that the Russians also launched two guided bombs at Vovchansk. As a result, a polyclinic in the city was completely destroyed.
As of 2:39 p.m, it is known that a 34-year-old man was injured. He suffered shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.
