The Russian army is preparing for possible hostilities in Crimea – they are strengthening the Crimean Isthmus defense and checking ships in the Azov and Black Seas
This is reported in the Military Media Center – the media site of the Defense Forces, coordinated by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“The occupying forces are fortifying the northern, western, and eastern parts of the peninsula to defend against a potential attack,” according to the message.
It is mentioned that the defense of the Crimean Isthmus is being strengthened as well.
Russian forces in the Azov and Black Seas are primarily focused on preventing attacks on their ships and fleet bases.
