Most Russian weapons are overrated - MilTech deputy CEO
Deputy CEO of MilTech and aviation expert Anatoliy Khrapchynskyi highlights Russians have numerous electronic warfare systems, but they're ineffective against FPV drones
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"In reality, Ukraine has many opportunities. We have access to more interesting markets where we can purchase components. The Russians have proven to be much more resourceful; by accessing Iranian facilities, they continue to circumvent sanctions. So, they also have opportunities to obtain high-tech items. However, it should be noted that most Russian weapons are overrated. For example, the aeroballistic missile 'Kinzhal' does not meet its tactical and technical characteristics," noted Khrapchynskyi.
According to the Deputy CEO of MilTech, Russians possess numerous electronic warfare systems, but they are not effective against FPV drones.
"Russia actively developed electronic warfare systems, creating large stations on chassis and KamAZ trucks. However, this is impractical given the challenges that currently exist. That is, against FPV drones, drone swarms, and strike drones, Russian stations are not effective. What is needed are mobile operational-tactical solutions. Small devices that can be placed on armor or next to trenches, defending the area from drone strikes. We see how our FPV drones effectively destroy enemy EW stations," added Khrapchynskyi.
