Russia prepares actions in France, Belgium over aircraft supply to Ukraine - media
Russia's intelligence services plan to use their agents in France and Belgium to organize anti-Ukrainian demonstrations against the supply of combat aircraft to Kyiv
Nowiny Polskie reported this.
“The protests will be a response to Poland's decision to deliver the first 4 MiG-29 fighters to Kyiv. To create massive pro-Kremlin protests, Russian propaganda will use footage of the ongoing demonstrations in France against the pension reform, and organizers of anti-Ukrainian rallies will try to gather their few 'supporters' near the epicenters of anti-government actions,” the publication says.
According to the publication, Russian special services are planning to support three anti-Ukrainian rallies - in Paris on March 18, Toulouse on March 19, and Brussels on April 4.
A former close associate of Marine Le Pen, French politician Florian Philippot, is behind the organization of the protests in Paris.
Earlier, on his Twitter page, he called for a rally against the decision of the Polish authorities to transfer combat aircraft to Ukraine, as, in Philippot's opinion, Poland is thus dragging the European Union and NATO into a war with Russia. In addition, Philippot openly calls Ukrainians 'Nazis' and actively promotes Russian narratives.
“In February 2023, Philippot already held a similar demonstration under the slogans 'No to World War III', 'We are leaving NATO', and 'No to arms supplies to Ukraine'. The event was actively publicized by the Russian media,” the publication recalled.
It is noted that another organizer of the anti-Ukrainian protests, which will take place on March 19 in Toulouse and April 04 near NATO headquarters in Brussels, is the head of the organization 'Rusophones of the Pyrenees', a 39-year-old French and Russian citizen Anna Novikova.
“The participants will demand that French and European politicians take into account their electronic petition on the French parliament's website to lift the sanctions against Russia,” the publication writes.
According to the publication, the demonstrations of consolidated pro-Russian forces under the slogan #StopKillingDonbass and against the supply of weapons to Ukraine are planned to be attended by people who previously worked as journalists and observers in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and covered events in favor of Russia.

On March 18, Mark Voyger, ex-adviser to the former US Army commander in Europe, noted that due to Russia's total failure on the battlefield, the Kremlin would try to drive the conflict in a hybrid way: drones, cyberattacks, propaganda campaigns, undermining the situation in Moldova, and other provocations.
