Russia keeps 3 missile carriers equipped with 24 Kalibrs, 2 large amphibious ships in Black Sea
As of the morning of January 23, two large Russian landing ships and three missile carriers equipped with 24 Kalibrs are on duty in the Black Sea
Operational Command South spokesperson Vladyslav Nazarov reported this.
“The enemy's ship formation in the Black Sea consists of 11 units,” Nazarov wrote.
He said that among the ships there are three missile carriers equipped with 24 Kalibrs and two large amphibious ships.
Also, in the Sea of Azov, control of the surface situation is ensured by only one ship of the Russian army.
The storm continues, Nazarov stressed.
“This will increase the mine threat in coastal waters and territories. Refrain from visiting the coast and swimming in prohibited places,” the spokesman added.

On January 17, Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk reported that the enemy troops had launched missile carriers with almost a record number of Kalibrs into the Black Sea since the beginning of the full-scale war - 6 missile carriers with a total volley of up to 44 missiles. The highest number of Russian missiles in the Black Sea recorded since February 24, 2022 was 48 units.

Also, according to Natalia Humeniuk, as of January 21, 11 ships of the Russian Federation were already in the Black Sea, and 5 of them - missile carriers. So, the total volley of a possible attack reached 36 Kalibrs - 4 more than the next day.

As of January 22, the number of missile carriers in the Black Sea has also decreased: a possible salvo is 32 Kalibrs.
