Ready for any scenario: Volyn regional military administration comments on situation on Belarus border
As of Thursday, December 15, the situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border is under control, no threat is observed
The head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration Yuriy Pohulyaiko told about this in his video message, Espreso reports.
According to the official, he decided to clarify the situation due to numerous calls to regional military administration and information about a possible threat from Belarus, which is spreading on social networks.
According to Yuriy Pohulyaiko, when assessing the situation at the border, the administration relies on data from the military.
"We do not see any threat today. I am in contact with the border guards 24 hours a day, who inform me of all changes on the demarcation line. Our military is ready for any scenario," said the head of the regional military administration.
He also urged Volyn residents to trust only information from official sources.
"We are aware that a threat from Belarus is possible from the first day of the invasion. The Ukrainian border within the region has been and is under reliable protection all day," he added.
