Putin and Lukashenko expect mistakes from Ukraine in order to invade from Belarus - diplomat

He expressed this opinion on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"Lukashenko creates information grounds for having several options to act. The threat of Belarus joining the war against Ukraine was before and remains now. I am convinced that sooner or later Putin and Lukashenko will throw troops from the territory of Belarus against Ukraine," Bezsmertny explained.

The diplomat emphasized that the threat from the territory of Belarus should not be ignored.

"It is obvious that, while monitoring the situation, Lukashenko and Putin are waiting for a mistake from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,but they won’t succeed. Since the information and psychological game conducted by the Kremlin, regarding the transfer of troops in some directions, does not give results. However, for Ukraine it is necessary to prepare for all possible scenarios. Especially for an attack by joint Belarusian-Russian forces not only from the north, but also from the northeast," he added.
