Next Ramstein meeting scheduled for September 19

"Secretary Lloyd Austin has once again invited defense ministers and senior military officials around the world to discuss the current crisis in Ukraine and the various security challenges facing US allies and partners," the press service told Radio Liberty.

What is known about the meeting in the Ramstein format?

Ramstein is a series of diplomatic meetings of defense ministers from several dozen countries to synchronize and accelerate the provision of military weapons to Ukraine to counter Russia's full-scale invasion and discuss support for Ukraine after the war.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 14 meetings have already taken place.

Instead, Ukraine's Defense Minister reported that a new meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format was to be held offline starting September 18.
