Mother of deceased pilot set up health center for compensation she received
In Ivano-Frankivsk region, health center was opened, equipped by the mother of fallen fighter pilot Stepan Tarabalka, Natalya with money she received as compensation
Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of Ivano-Frankivsk regional administration, states, Espreso reports.
She noted that the "Warmth of a winged soul" center was created for those who went through hell through the front and for their relatives. Qualified doctors: psychiatrists, psychologists and rehabilitators will work on rehabilitating servicemen.
"Hero's mother donated funds to this cause as compensation after the death of her son. Ms. Natalya rallied caring people around her, and today rehabilitation center officially opened its doors", Onyshchuk noted.
Pilot Stepan Tarabalka became the Hero of Ukraine posthumously. He died on March 13 in the sky over Zhytomyr in air combat with the Russian enemy.
"He was the first to go into battle! He has many combat flights on his account. At the age of 29, Major Stepan Tarabalka resolutely destroyed Russian invading forces who were bombing peaceful Ukrainian cities. Attacking Russian enemy in the air, he saved people's lives on the ground. On his MiG-29, he brought victory over the Russian enemy as close as he could. A Fighter pilot died on March 13 in the sky over Zhytomyr, in an unequal air battle with dominant enemy forces. Division in which Stepan Tarabalka served was that "Ghost of Kyiv" that repelled Russian enemy in the sky day and night", the head of Regional Military Administration added.
