Mobilization is in full swing in Belarus - Shadow Minister of Defense Valeriy Sahashchyk
All units of the Special Operations Forces of Belarus are re-staffed to wartime states, mass summonses are also issued and travel abroad is blocked
The Minister of Defense of Tsikhanouskaya's shadow government, former commander of Belarusian paratroopers division, lieutenant colonel in reserve, Valeriy Sakhaschik, reports to Glavcom.
"Mobilization is in full swing. We started with servicemen of all categories: soldiers, sergeants, ensigns, officers who served in the Special Operations Forces. They were conscripted up to the age of 35. Now even older people are being taken to the army", Sakhaschik said.
The lieutenant colonel said that all units of the Special Operations Forces of Belarus are being restocked to their wartime status.
"There is no accurate information about ground forces. But calls to join the army are everywhere. Belarusians are no longer allowed abroad, summons are handed out, it is already mass in nature", Sakhaschik added.
Belarusians who try to protest against mobilization are beaten and taken away. In particular, in one of the military commissariats of Vitebsk region, 50 people arrived on summons for several days. Two reserve soldiers began to ask questions to the military: "Where to? Why? How many? And won't they send us to war? We don't want to go to war!". According to Sakhaschik, the military commander did not answer the questions. And then the riot police came to the boys, beat them with rubber batons, handcuffed them, threw them into a car and took them somewhere. None of the conscripts asked more of such questions.
