Kremlin comments on China's "peace plan"
The Kremlin has "paid attention" to the so-called peace plan presented by China on the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on February 27, according to Russian media.
"Any attempts to develop plans that will contribute to the transition of the conflict to a peaceful course deserve attention," he said.
Peskov noted that "the details should be subject to careful analysis and consideration of the interests of different parties."
"This is a long process," Putin's spokesman said, emphasizing that the Kremlin "does not see any prerequisites for this story to be resolved peacefully."
At the same time, Peskov refused to comment on Western media reports that China is preparing to supply military equipment to Russia, noting that this information has already been denied by the Chinese side.
Last week, China published a document with a position on the "political settlement" of Russia's war against Ukraine
