First F-16 training for Ukrainians to be conducted by UK
Official London has agreed to conduct ground training for Ukrainian pilots. First, the pilots will master simulators, and then simpler fighter jets
Foreign Policy reported the information.
The UK will host the "ground" part of the training of Ukrainian pilots to work with Western F-16 fighter jets. Currently, Ukraine is ready to send 20 military personnel who are "already fluent in English" for training. This should facilitate faster learning of the course.
The outlet said that the training provided by the NATO course "Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals" will be divided into several stages. It will involve working first on simulators and then on real aircraft. It is possible that at the beginning it will not be an F-16, but another type of fighter jet, a simpler one.
