Crimean occupation authorities file "lawsuit" against Ukraine demanding compensation of RUB 152 bln for "water blockade" of peninsula
The occupation authorities of Crimea want to charge Ukraine 152.2 bln rubles (about 1.109 bln euros) as compensation for losses due to the "water blockade" of the peninsula
This was reported by Russian media with reference to the occupying head of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.
He noted that the claims of the occupation authorities of Crimea to Ukraine regarding the so-called “water blockade” of the peninsula amount to more than 152.2 billion rubles.
According to him, this is important because after the end of the "special military operation", negotiations will begin, during which the West will point out the damage caused by Russia to Ukraine.
"They will say that we will lift sanctions, sell oil for this amount of money, for example. For our part, we need to be ready to present the damage that Ukraine has caused to Crimea," Konstantinov said.
He added that the peninsula's "authorities" would continue to work on shaping claims against Ukraine.
