China should condemn Russia, force it to make peace – Diplomat Lubkivskyi

Diplomat Danylo Lubkivskyi stated this on Espreso.

"If China believes in the territorial integrity of countries, they should force Putin to leave the territory of Ukraine," he said.

According to Lubkivskyi, China's position as a top country is crucial for Ukraine, and it should be much clearer.

"China joined the Budapest Memorandum which guaranteed Ukraine's security after the transfer of nuclear weapons. It is important that China, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, does not provoke escalation by its actions, and does not harm global peace and security. China should condemn Moscow and force it to peace. This war is not beneficial even to China," the diplomat believes.
