Russia may receive non-lethal military aid from China - media
US officials claim that China may be providing non-lethal military aid to Russia for use in Ukraine, including uniforms and even bulletproof vests
This was reported by NBC News with reference to four American officials
The sources claimed that China's assistance to Russia is more tangible now, despite the fact that earlier in the year, China repeated Russian disinformation campaigns about the war against Ukraine.
Officials declined to provide details on the non-lethal military aid, but said it could include equipment for the spring offensive, such as uniforms or even bulletproof vests.
“We have been clear about our concerns about lethal aid. We have not yet seen them cross that line, but we don’t think they have taken it off the table,” according to a source familiar.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken and China's top diplomat, Wang Yi, met on February 18 after the Munich Security Conference, and a person with knowledge of the matter claims that such assistance to Russia was a significant topic of conversation. Blinken and other US officials at the conference shared information about Chinese assistance to Russia with allies and partners.
