UK intelligence reports on Ukrainian army's strikes on Russian positions
Invading Russian forces continue suffering heavy losses in the war in Ukraine
This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defense.
On November 10, 2023, more than 70 Russian soldiers were probably killed in an attack on a convoy of trucks 23 km behind the front line in the village of Hladkivka, Kherson region.
Later, on November 19, 2023, Ukrainian troops attacked the Russian invaders attending an award ceremony or concert in Kumachove, allegedly 60 km inside Russian-controlled territory. Dozens of Russians were killed.
The intelligence emphasizes that there have also been similar incidents in Ukraine: On November 3, 2023, a Russian ballistic missile killed 19 Ukrainian soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade at an awards ceremony.
Deployed soldiers are usually well aware of the range of their enemy's weapons systems.
However, when faced with the reality of a very long combat deployment, commanders face a stark dilemma.
"They must balance the best practice of keeping troops dispersed and less vulnerable to attack with the day-to-day requirement to bring units together to exercise command and control and maintain morale," the intelligence report said.
- On Friday, November 3, Russian terrorists launched a rocket attack on the personnel of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Transcarpathian region, killing the soldiers and injuring local residents of varying degrees of severity.
- On the day of the Russian missile and artillery troops, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a large number of soldiers from the 810th Marine Brigade in the Kherson region.
