Belarus alleges shooting down a drone launched from northern Ukraine
The border committee of Belarus claims that the downed drone "was heading from the Ukrainian side to the rear of Belarusian territory.”

Belarusian border guards made the claim on Telegram, Espreso reports.
"1,200 meters from the state border above the Mokrany crossing point (Domanovo crossing point on the Ukrainian side) at an altitude of about 300 meters, Belarusian border guards and military personnel discovered a quadcopter...They downed it using electronic weapons," the message says.
According to the committee, the incident happened yesterday, December . The quadcopter had no identifying marks, but was allegedly equipped with a built-in video camera for reconnaissance of Belarusian border area.
"Verification methods are held regarding the incident. Similar cases were recorded on November 2 and November 16," Belarusian border guards added.
