And what about the land-lease?
The Lend-Lease Act expires in September
I'm embarrassed to ask, but what has happened to the American Land-Lease Act, publicized over a year ago?
For several months, they have been "striding around", announcing an unprecedented decision, promising everything on time...

“I would also like to remind you in absolute terms that during World War II, under the lend-lease procedure, the US transferred to the Soviet Union almost 15,000 aircraft, about 7,000 tanks (of the latest model), and USD 11.4 billion (which at the current exchange rate is estimated at almost USD 159 billion) to defeat Germany.”
As they say, feel the difference.
This post is not meant to diminish the assistance that the United States is currently providing to Ukraine. We should be grateful for what we receive. But the comparison is more about real leadership and political will. Or the lack thereof. This also applies to the position on Ukraine's accession to NATO, by the way.
