80th Brigade spokesperson is killed in battle with invading Russian forces

This was reported by the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Airborne Assault Troops, Espreso.Weast reports.

"Captain Leliavskyi met Russia's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine in the south of the country, where a part of his troops was conducting combat operations. He always worked on the front line, covering the progress of hostilities. He was one of the first to enter Ukrainian settlements liberated from the Russian enemy," the command writes. "Yurii repeatedly filmed the combat work of airborne assault, artillery, engineering, and sapper units, and for several days he performed tasks side by side with paratroopers. For this, he was respected in the brigade, and these materials were repeatedly published in the domestic and foreign media."

Yuriy Leliavskyi was killed in battle on September 28 while performing a mission as part of an airborne assault unit.
