Zaluzhnyi discusses F-16 aircraft and ammunition provision to Ukraine with US Supreme Allied Commander Europe
On Tuesday, May 23, Valerii Zaluzhnyi held a telephone conversation with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Christopher Cavoli
He announced this on Telegram.
The discussions primarily revolved around the need to enhance air defense capabilities, particularly through F-16 fighters, as well as the importance of increasing ammunition supplies.
Zaluzhnyi stated, "We emphasized the significance of ongoing collaborative efforts in maintaining and repairing military equipment. Additionally, we addressed the composition of our army, both in terms of quantity and quality, and put forward an initiative to bolster the Ukrainian marines with new brigades.”

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg explained that the agreement regarding the training of Ukrainian pilots allows for future considerations regarding the provision of the F-16 aircraft, which each member state of the "coalition of fighters" must decide individually.
