World must save our guys in Mariupol, otherwise there is no hope for bright future - Mariupol defender's wife 

She expressed her position on Espreso.

"Now it's difficult to keep in touch with the guys who are defending Mariupol. About 1.5 hours ago I received a text message from my husband. It's not possible to record audio and video messages. They also can't be broadcast live because internet connection is poor. When my husband got in touch, he said they were holding on. It's very difficult for them. They live in the hope that someone will save them and hope for a miracle," said Anastasia.

Anastasia stressed that the servicemen defending Mariupol will carry out the order to the end. They just can't save their lives.

"There is nothing they can do in this situation. Our guys are carrying out the order to keep the defense, because there was no other order. At the cost of their own lives, they're defending the city. The whole world should help our defenders. If this doesn't happen, we'll lose every hope for a bright future. We'll lose hope for good and happiness in this world. Either the world or our Commander-in-Chief must save them. I ask our Commander-in-Chief to negotiate the evacuation of our men. We don't need to forget about our defenders in Mariupol. We need to talk about it and try to get them out of that hell," Anastasia added.
