Weakening of Moscow and even slight defeat in Ukraine are beneficial to China - Mark Feygin
China wants the Russian Federation to ask Beijing to save its economy and sanctions-ravaged industrial potential
Russian opposition activist Mark Feygin said this in an interview with the Espreso TV channel.
"The weakening of Moscow and even a slight defeat in Ukraine benefit China. Yes, of course, if Moscow won the war in 2-3 days, then this would be a different story, you could write off America and so on. But this did not happen. That is, Moscow did not win this war, did not capture Kyiv, so why help it get out of this war without losing face," he said.
Mark Feygin noted that an economically weak Russia is to China's advantage because it would be able to show its undeniable superiority.
"On the contrary, let Russia lose face, let it crawl on its knees to Beijing, begging it to save the economy, ruined by sanctions, deindustrialized, with a destroyed military-industrial complex, and the industrial potential, which was low, but now reduced to the lowest level, with from third-world countries to the fourth world. Specialists left, IT experts left, engineers whom you were just going to use as cannon fodder, toss like minced meat, which will never make a cutlet," he added.
