United States blacklist 5 Chinese companies for assisting Russia
The US Department of Commerce has imposed sanctions on 5 Chinese companies that have helped the Russian military during Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Economic Truth reported the news.
As noted, the US Department of Commerce added 5 Chinese companies to the sanctions list because they helped the Russian military during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
"Today’s action sends a powerful message to entities and individuals across the globe that if they seek to support Russia, the US will cut them off," said Deputy Trade Minister Alan Estevez.
The United States is concerned about ties between China and Russia, but it is not about accusing the Chinese government or the military directly of supplying equipment to the Russian military.
American companies are prohibited from exporting goods to listed companies.
Earlier it was reported that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg believes that China and Russia are now closer than ever.
