Ukrainian Railways raise almost UAH 280,000 for Drone Army by selling tea
Passengers of Ukrainian Railways ordered almost 51,000 "Combat" and "Intelligence" tea bags, raising UAH 278,965 to buy 13 FPV ‘Hrim’ drones
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia, the Ukrainian railway company.
"It is interesting that the best-selling tea is "Combat" tea - 62% of the total amount purchased, and the bulk of the tea - about 40,000 bags - is bought directly on the train during the journey," the press service writes.
Passengers of the train No. 105/106 Kyiv - Odesa are the most fond of the special tea, as they bought the largest number of bags.
In total, Ukrzaliznytsia passengers ordered 50,721 bags of "Combat" and "Intelligence" tea, raising UAH 278,965. This money will be used to buy 13 ‘Hrim’ FPV drones.
It is reported that this is no ordinary tea. Each bag allows you to play Sea Battle. It is currently available in two types: "Combat" with bergamot and "Intelligence" with Crimean herbs.
UAH 5.5 from each cup goes to purchase FPV drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
You can order tea when buying tickets online and on the train, except for Intercity+.
