Ukraine's intelligence services have sufficient potential to operate effectively in Russia - military expert Zgurets
Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets believes that Ukrainian special services have enough forces and means to actively operate in the territory of the Russian Federation and beyond
He expressed this opinion on the Espreso TV channel.
"Today, the potential of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence and other special services allows us to work powerfully on the territory of the Russian Federation and beyond. We have the resources and means to harass the enemy around the world. However, now we are actually doing less of what we are capable of. Because most of the intelligence information about Russia's actions is provided to us by the United States, and we have to take this into account," Zgurets explained.
The analyst emphasized that in making certain decisions regarding attacks on Russian territory, Ukraine should take into account the opinion of its partners.
"We are in a certain balance. The United States provides us with military and intelligence information. Therefore, Ukraine's military and political leadership must take their opinion into account. Therefore, this balance affects the actions of our intelligence agencies. It is also reflected on the front line, as we are largely dependent on military assistance from our partners," he added.
