Ukraine’s General Staff urges to surrender Belarusians and Russians fighting in Ukraine
Decent living conditions, food and contact with relatives: General Staff explained to Belarusian and Russian military how to surrender
The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reminded the enemy soldiers how to surrender and assured that Ukraine guarantees their life and safety.
"Military personnel of the Republic of Belarus! If you are still forced to take part in Putin's war against the people of Ukraine and if you cannot help but carry out this criminal order, after crossing the state border of Ukraine, stop in the unit, turn off the engines, discharge the weapons, raise the white flags and wait for meetings with representatives of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the appeal reads.
The General Staff noted that the actions of the Belarusian military will be perceived as a friendly gesture, so they will be able to return home.
"If you are afraid of the criminal authorities, we will offer you a dignified stay on the territory of Ukraine in specially equipped military towns," the Ukrainian military added.
In order to surrender, you need to call the hotline of the "I want to live" project: +38 066 580 34 98, +38 093 119 29 84 or write to the chatbot.
