UK provides Ukraine with three helicopters
Ukraine will receive three former Sea King helicopters and artillery shells from the UK
This is reported by the BBC concerning British Defense Minister Ben Wallace.
It is noted that the first such helicopter has already arrived in Ukraine.
Over the past six weeks, Ukrainian crews have been trained in the UK to fly and maintain aircraft to provide search and rescue capabilities.
The defence minister noted that his country would send 10 thousand artillery shells. He noted that artillery shells would help the Ukrainian Armed Forces secure the recently liberated territory.
The Sea King was previously used by the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy, with the latter aircraft decommissioned by the Navy in 2018.
Several countries have sent manned aircraft to Ukraine since the beginning of the war, and Kyiv's requests to Western countries to send fighter jets remain unanswered.
