UK expands sanctions on Russia, adding two former Rosneft managers
The UK has expanded its sanctions list against Russia, by adding two former managers of the Russian oil company
This is reported by SkyNews.
The UK government announced on Tuesday that it had imposed sanctions on two former members of the board of the Rosneft oil company: Didier Casimiro and Zeljko Runje.
Both are now subject to asset freezes for "benefiting from or supporting the Russian government by serving as a manager of an entity affiliated with the Russian government".
This is the latest addition to a long list of sanctions imposed by the UK after the war in Ukraine.
