‘The enemy will not pass in this direction again’: complex fire damage system installed in Kyiv region
After analysing previous Russian actions Ukrainian military specialists have created a complex system of fire damage in the Kyiv region as a means of repelling further attacks of any kind.
This was announced by the Command of the United Forces of the Ukraine's Armed Forces on Facebook.
According to the message, the commander of the United Forces of the Ukraine's Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, visited key positions of the Ukrainian military in the Kyiv region and was convinced of the quality of preparation for defense.
"We analyzed the previous actions of the enemy in the Kyiv direction and, having studied this experience, predicted our adequate actions. Defensive positions are located precisely in those places where the enemy forces are most likely to attack. Analyzing probable enemy actions, we created a complex system of fire damage, which provides defeating the enemy on distant approaches and in the closest depth of his battle formations," Nayev said.
The command emphasizes that the commander of the unit of the Ukraine's Armed Forces, which provides defense in this area, constantly interacts with units of the State Border Service, the National Guard, the National Police and the Security Service.
"All together, they carry out planned measures to prevent the actions of enemy forces. This applies both to countering sabotage and reconnaissance groups, and to repelling a possible enemy attack," Nayev added.
Also, the command notes that the population that survived the attack of the Russian forces fully supports the Ukrainian defenders.
"I'm sure that the enemy will not pass in this direction again. We are doing everything to ensure that this confidence is real," added Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev.
