Taiwan crisis sees new geopolitical bipolar order emerge, without Russia - analyst
International political scientist Volodymyr Volya said that the Taiwan crisis has established a new kind of geopolitical bipolarity - between the US and China, and there is no role in it for the Russian Federation.
The expert shared the details on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"The Taiwan crisis recorded a new geopolitical bipolarity. It does not look obvious yet, but it is a polarity without Russia. Just as the Caribbean crisis once recorded the dominance of two powerful economies and military states – the United States of America and the Soviet Union. Now the USA and China are establishing a new geopolitical parity - Volya noted.
The political scientist emphasized that now world politics is being formed around the relations between the USA and China.
«The Chinese newspaper "Renmin Zhibao" wrote after the conversation between Joe Biden and Xi Jinping that the Chinese president said that people expect the United States and China to take a leading role in maintaining peace and security on the planet. World politics is now being shaped around the relationship between the United States and China." - noted Volodymyr Volya.
