Russians lure workers from Russia to Mariupol, but cheat them out of money - city council
Invading Russian forces bring people from Russia to work in Russian-occupied territories, promising high salaries, but in fact cheat them out of their money
The Mariupol City Council shared this information.
"Local residents are not hired for these jobs, because they are second-class people. Bricklayers, decorators, and electrical installers were brought to Mariupol from St. Petersburg. They were promised salaries twice as high as for similar work in Russian cities. But the first video appeals from the brought workers of the occupied city that they were simply deceived. They work without contracts, and now they have not been paid yet", the city council wrote.
The city council also adds that the majority of Mariupol residents are unemployed.
"And those who managed to get a job are not paid their wages. Because of this, the employees of the city water supply company have been protesting for several days, because they are used to decent pay for their work. But this is not about the "Russian world". There is only contempt and injustice", it is noted.
