Russians in Crimea panic as they realize Ukrainian armed forces are advancing - OC South
Panic prevails in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Russian military realizes that they will not stay in these locations for long
Natalia Humeniuk, OC South spokeswoman, stated this.
“Russians in Crimea are feeling very panicked because they know that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are moving forward and nothing can stop them. The fact of civilians leaving Crimea also makes them worried,” she said.
The Russians soldiers are also feeling less motivated.
"Collaborators and the occupation authorities have already taken all their valuables and continue to "cut the budget", demonstrating that they do not care what happens when they leave. This all creates a feeling, in particular among the military contingent currently on the Crimean peninsula, that they will not stay long in these base points," Humeniuk noted.
It's likely that the invading forces will be moved from Crimea to places like Zaporizhzhia or Donbas.
“There, they will have to fight a lot. Even though they have a lot of soldiers, they are using them up quickly in battles,” she added.
