Russian troops continue to improve their defense in Zaporizhzhia and Crimea pending Ukrainian counteroffensive – Ukraine’s Colonel Dmytrashkivskyi

"The enemy is waiting for a counteroffensive. They are so afraid that they do not stop reinforcing their defensive lines – they are constantly improving fortifications, working on anti-tank weapons - they are digging ditches and installing 'dragons' teeth'. The matter has reached Crimea, where they are also equipping the frontiers on the isthmus," he said.

Dmytrashkivskyi added that the panic in the Russian army is quite high and everyone expects a counteroffensive.

"The enemy is very cunning, which is why they are constantly maneuvering. There are constant changes – something arrives, something leaves for other directions. The movement is constant. The enemy's mood is quite depressed, they are all waiting for a counteroffensive. Even in intercepts, soldiers inform their families about the date of the counteroffensive, although the Ukraine's Defense Minister said that no one knows it," the officer summarized.
