Russian troops continue to build new defense lines in Zaporizhzhia region - Mayor of Melitopol Fedorov

Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov told Espreso TV about this.

"Russia had time to prepare. Today, there are at least three defense lines in the Zaporizhzhia direction towards Melitopol. The distance between them is 20 kilometers and they are of different strength. Some are made of concrete structures, some are made of wood. The enemy also continues to prepare new defense lines. Both on the border with Donetsk region and on the border with Kherson region, as well as another one near Melitopol - between the villages of Myrne and Terpinnya. According to Ukraine's Intelligence, the total length is over 100 kilometers. Russian invaders are mining fields near the front line to complicate the advance of Ukrainian troops," he said.
