Russian sabotage and intelligence groups operate in Zaporizhzhia region

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Oleh Buriak, said this on Espreso TV. 

“In some areas, they (the occupiers, - ed.) have increased the number of sabotage and intelligence groups, which try to grope front areas at night, in order to possibly find out if there are any minefields, hidden strongholds, where they could launch their offensive. Therefore, this is more of a reconnaissance  combat - reconnaissance of these groups,” he emphasized.

According to Oleh Buriak, the number of liquidated Russian sabotage and intelligence groups has also increased in the Zaporizhzhia region. In addition to saboteurs, the Ukrainian military destroys their tanks, armored personnel carriers, as well as other equipment.

• On January 24, the secretary of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Roman Kostenko, noted that the Russian enemy is accumulating reserves at the Zaporizhzhia bridgehead.
