Russian military plan to set up 'heating tents' in Mariupol instead of central heating in winter
There will be no central heating in Mariupol in winter, so the Russian military plan to set up 'heating tents' and start the school year in summer.
Mariupol mayor's adviser Petro Andryushchenko shared the update in his Telegram channel.
"All the partially destroyed houses have been reported for demolition for two weeks with a demand for eviction. The Russian military do not answer where and how people will be relocated later, shifting the problem to Mariupol residents again. The occupation administration continues arranging landfills in the courtyards of high-rise buildings," he said.
The Russian military are also informing the citizens that they will not pay compensation. Applications are processed from 'compensation' to 'repair assistance'.
"Announced plans for heating in the winter. It will not be a central heating, but heating tents will be set up. How to warm up more than 130,000 people in tents, it is more of an answer than a question. Our sources say that the schools will work only in the warm period, which is why instead of summer vacations there will be long winter vacations or the plan to make a kind of online education is still being discussed," Petro Andryushchenko said.
