Russian military lost more than 400 soldiers in Mariupol during the week  – city council

"More than 400 soldiers were neutralized in Mariupol. This is reported by the Russian media. It is noted that as a result of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine last week, 200 Russian soldiers were killed. And yesterday, Ukrainian forces entered the location of the occupiers, so another 250 Russians were neutralized," the statement said.

It is noted that, according to Russian media, special forces and marines of the Russian army were transferred to the occupied Mariupol. It was they who were hit by missiles on May 26.

• As a reminder, two explosions occurred in Mariupol last night, May 26. According to preliminary data, they hit in the area of Azovstal. The Russian occupiers claimed that they had been attacked by long-range missiles.

• Three explosions occurred in Mariupol on May 27. Preliminarily, Russian air defence was triggered from the side of Nikolske.
