Russian fuel depots vulnerable to drone attacks - British intelligence
In the regions of Russia bordering Ukraine and in the temporarily occupied territories, Russia's fuel depots are highly vulnerable to UAV attacks. Because of this, Moscow may change the scheme of operations to refuel its forces
This is stated in a recent report by British intelligence.
Experts noted that on May 3, a fire broke out at a Russian fuel depot in the village of Volna on the Russian mainland in the Kerch Strait, near the Crimean bridge. It could have been caused by a drone strike, which is in line with the trend of damage to Russian fuel depots since the beginning of the year.
According to British intelligence, the destruction of the fuel storage and distribution network is likely to force Russia to make adjustments to its refueling operations to mitigate attacks on its armed forces.
"Russian adjustments could include deploying additional protection measures at fuel storage sites, as seen in Tuaspe in Russia, or relying on infrastructure in less threatened regions," the UK Ministry of Defense notes.

British intelligence notes that on April 28 and May 1, Russia launched massive cruise missile attacks on Ukraine. These were the first such attacks in 50 days, and the previous ones took place on March 9.
