Russian forces demolish high-rise buildings in Mariupol
In temporarily seized Mariupol, invading Russian forces are demolishing damaged high-rise buildings to hide their war crimes
The Mariupol City Council reported this on the Telegram channel.
“The Russians are massively demolishing high-rise buildings in the city. This is evidenced by satellite images from the Maxar Technologies company. Buildings, where people once lived peacefully, become 100% ruins. They are literally being erased from the earth,” the Mariupol City Council noted.
According to the city council, 2,257 apartment buildings were damaged by Russian shelling during the siege.
“That is, 90% of the entire housing stock. In general, more than 50% of high-rise buildings were destroyed, which is 1,356 buildings,” the city council clarifies.
It is also noted that the invading Russian forces do not stop there, they continue the destruction of buildings and hide their war crimes.

Earlier, Andriushchenko said that in the occupied city of Mariupol, the Russian forces are cutting the Azovstal plant into scrap and want to start the AzovElectroStal enterprise in order to remake it into metal products.

On November 30, the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that in the Mariupol district there is no food or money to buy it, so people are forced to live on "humanitarian food" which is not enough for everyone.
