"We can't confirm": Ukraine’s Air Force comments on alleged downing of Shahed with jet engine
The spokesman for Ukraine’s Air Force Command, Yuriy Ihnat, says that the Air Force could not confirm the downing of a Shahed allegedly equipped with a jet engine
Ihnat made the statement on the United News telethon.
"How can we confirm this if we don't find it? Those who have found it should confirm, show, and tell us. We have already discussed that Iran introduced Shahed 236, which is black in color. After that, the occupiers began repainting ordinary Shaheds in black," the Air Force spokesman said.
Commenting on this issue, Ihnat called the Shahed with a jet engine a "mini cruise missile.” According to him, such a drone cannot have a large supply of ammunition, as the jet engine will consume a lot of fuel, but its speed will be higher.

Earlier, Ihnat said that Russia has started painting UAVs black. The spokesman explained that this will complicate the work of air defense, as it will be more difficult for mobile fire groups to detect targets.
