Moving war to Russian territory is main task of armed struggle - Reserve Colonel Hrabskyi
Strikes on Russia's critical infrastructure are extremely important
Serhiy Hrabskyi, military expert, participant of peacekeeping missions, and reserve colonel of Ukraine's Armed Forces, shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"Ukraine should strike at Russia's critical and energy infrastructure and focus on this task. It was the Russians who taught us this, no one else. We strike back, this is the so-called boomerang. We can try to destroy this or that plant, but in today's times, when production is very dispersed and can be transferred to other areas and capacities, it makes more sense to try to destroy energy facilities. Without power, Russian factories will not work," he said.
Striking critical transportation infrastructure is also an extremely important element of Ukraine's fight. After all, the basis of Russia's logistics is railroads, Hrabskyi noted.
"Their density is not as high as in Ukraine. The enemy tried to strike at the railways for some time, but later stopped, because it was senseless. But in the case of Russia, it works quite effectively," he added.
The transfer of the war to the Russian territory meets Ukraine's main objectives of the armed struggle to liberate Ukraine's territories and stop the Russian aggression, the reserve colonel believes.
