“Currently, the enemy is having tactical success,” the General Staff said.
It is noted that the fighting is taking place in the directions of Pylyna - Lukiantsi, Pylyna - Hlyboke, Pylyna - Oliinykove, Murom - Buhrivatka. At the same time, the Russian Federation is conducting assault operations in the areas of Strilecha - Hlyboke, Oliinykove - Hlyboke, Oliinykove - Lukiantsi, Murom - Starytsia, and Pletenivka - Tykhyne.
"We are fighting for the border town of Vovchansk. Russia has deployed significant forces of up to 5 battalions to attack the city and is not counting its own losses. The Russian invaders lost more than 100 soldiers in this area alone over the last day," the statement says.
Instead, Ukrainian soldiers are engaged in defensive actions, inflicting fire damage on the enemy, and widely using unmanned systems to conduct reconnaissance and launch precision strikes to inflict maximum losses.
