Russia preparing provocations in Zaporizhzhia region - Melitopol Mayor

The mayor of Melitopol shared the information on Telegram.

He noted that Russia is preparing provocations in the Melitopol district: Russian troops visit the homes of local residents and urge them to evacuate or find a bomb shelter.

"The invaders are used to acting according to the "Donetsk scenario": either scaring the locals with the "evil Armed Forces of Ukraine" so that people do not wait for Ukraine's return, or worse, they organize provocations to blame the Armed Forces of Ukraine later," noted Ivan Fedorov.

• Earlier, the mayor of Melitopol said on Espreso TV that Russian troops were building underground bunkers near the city, largely preparing for defense. In particular, in the village of Novomykolaivka, near Melitopol, they are burying shipping containers in the ground.
