Russia has thwarted evacuation from Mariupol - mayor adviser
Russians dispersed people who planned to evacuate from Mariupol
Mayor adviser Petro Andryushchenko reported about that in Telegram.
“At 11 o'clock at least 200 Mariupol residents gathered near Port City shopping center to wait for the evacuation to Zaporizhia. Instead of the buses promised by Russian side, Russian military approached Mariupol residents and ordered them to disperse because use of coercion in gross form of people was dispersed, "he wrote.
According to Andryushchenko, buses were never submitted for loading.
At the same time, occupiers handed over buses to a point near Metro shopping center (200 meters from the agreed evacuation point) and began loading.
He added that people were not given right to leave the bus.
“In response to the question why, answer was that "nationalists fired on evacuation point." That is, another lie. Yes, once again Russians thwarted evacuation plans ", - Andryushchenko summed up.
